Frequently Asked Questions
General Information about John's Banff and Jasper Notecards

More about the Notecards:

Each notecard has one small subtle line of writing on the front, directly below the picture.  A typical line is "Black Bear in Dandelions, Banff National Park."

The back of the greeting cards features a longer write-up about John:

"I feel fortunate to live in the Canadian Rockies and share my passion for the outdoors through photography.  'Wilderness Moments' introduces you to some of my favourite places and memories, capturing the magic of these mountains on film.  I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy hiking, backpacking and exploring in search of more!"

Each notecard is made from 100% recycled glossy cover stock paper, making it durable, tough and thick; yet leaving it shiny and smooth, displaying the photographs beautifully with vibrant, rich colours.  Each actual image on the card has an added layer of varnish to help reproduce these vivid colours.

The notecards are professionally printed in Calgary, Alberta.  The concept and design was prepared by Tim Nokes Design of Canmore, Alberta, while all additional layout and concept work was by Richard Maruk of Ivy Design in Calgary, the same designer of John's photo coffee table books.

Note:  the colour of the border of the cards was difficult to reproduce on-screen and is not as 'gold' as it appears online.  It is a natural earthy tan colour with a hint of green/gold.

Is there a money-back refund or guarantee for the notecards or for damaged cards?

Yes, there is a money-back guarantee on all orders and on all cards damaged in shipping.  Money will be returned or cards will be replaced free of charge once the original cards are returned (at no charge to you).

In eight years of doing business online and in retail stores across Alberta, we are proud to say that we have yet to have had a single card returned for any reason!

Will there be more Banff and Jasper notecards of wildlife and nature?

Yes, new greeting cards are added every few years.  The most recent additions were two new cards in December 2007.
