Shot in October 2000 on a
spectacularly warm autumn day for the Rockies.
I was staying in the ACC Hut 21
km into the valley and got up an hour before sunrise to hike the
4 km to the outlet creek in front of the Ramparts.
Truly one of the most stunning
backcountry landscapes in the world, the Ramparts is the most
heavily visited backcountry area in Jasper National Park.
