I lived in the Rockies for seven
years before finally taking a picture of Lake Louise. I
was set on making my living from wilderness images of areas that
few people visited, but kept getting asked if I had any
photographs of Lake Louise.
Finally, in the summer of 1998 I
broke down and this is from that initial set of photographs.
Since that time, Lake Louise has
grown to become one of my favourite photo locations. It
continues to amaze me how incredible it looks in all seasons
(see WM015 and WM023).
