It is only one of two pictures that I have kept in my files from my days as an amateur photographer. This image was taken at Lower Waterfowl Lake in the summer of 1994 along the Icefields Parkway. The location, with the spectacular 'Black Pyramid' (Mount Chephren) towering over the dazzling aqua-coloured waters of Lower Waterfowl Lake, continues to offer one of the most breathtaking vistas in the Canadian Rockies.
