Mount Chephren and Waterfowl Lake, Banff National Park

One of my favourite
shots of all-time, mainly because I took this image before I
turned professional and starting selling my pictures. It is
only one of two pictures that I have kept in my files from my days
as an amateur photographer.
This image was taken
from beside the Icefields Parkway at Upper Waterfowl Lake in the
summer of 1994. The location, with the spectacular 'Black
Pyramid' (Mount Chephren) towering over the dazzling aquablue
waters of Upper Waterfowl Lake, continues to be one of my
favourite spots to photograph in the Rockies.
