Moraine Lake is infamous for
the breezes that blow over it, foiling any attempts to get a
nice reflection shot. I thought that my efforts had been
thwarted again after a visit in June in 2000, so I was surprised
to find several nice shots on my light table after the shoot that I couldn't even
remember taking. As it turned out, the reflection
wasn't quite what I had envisioned, but the overall image
conveyed the feeling that I had been looking for -- that of
beauty and tranquility.
