This fiery sunrise image of Second Vermilion Lake and Mount Rundle was taken in March 1999.  Named after Reverend Robert Rundle, one of the first white visitors to the Banff area, Mount Rundle dominates the skyline southeast of Banff and is one of the most photographed peaks in the Canadian Rockies.
